The rotating roster works perfectly and allows every owner to get the chance for busy times at Xmas, NYE, Easter etc as their turn falls due.

This Westerly 49 is in immaculate condition and a credit to its owner.  It has always been maintained to a very high standard and now has had a makeover she deserves.  This gorgeous yacht is a real blue water ocean cruiser with powerful, safe and super stable performance.  She has beautiful teak laid decks and new cockpit, new ceiling linings and new carpet throughout the interior.

She is currently sitting on a private jetty in a deep water berth in Mooloolaba. Annual running costs for the 1/4 share are $5k per share which covers everything including the private jetty.

Sloop rigged with furling main, genoa and staysail, this Westerly 49 is easily handled by 2 people.  A Sidepower bow thruster makes in port maneuvers simple whilst on passage she has both electronic and mechanical autopilots. On cabin top there is an electric winch able to be used for various functions including halyards, furling or dinghy lifting.

She has been fitted to a high degree in safety and her electronic package constantly updated to provide all systems that you would expect from a modern cruising yacht. Her cockpit is protected by a pilot house which fully protects in all weather.

Lots of space on deck particularly on the aft decks where you find good access to the barbeque cooking station.  There is also simply dinghy launch via davits and steps down to the swim platform. Down below you will immediately be swept away by wonderful warmth and space.  There is plenty of light and ventilation and the boat is very dry.

A huge dining area to seat 10, plus navigation station with swivel chair with back.  The galley is perfectly positioned with lots of bench space and back support whilst cooking at sea. There is a double cabin forward as well as a twin bunk room and bathroom. But go into the aft owner's stateroom for the true WOW factor.

A massive comfortable, queen size bed and lounge chair. Cupboards and storage to burn and a private bathroom makes this space very inviting. Throughout the boat you will note attention to handholds to get you around in all conditions safely.

From an engineering standpoint the owner has done a beautiful job in keeping the mechanics in top condition.  The Volvo Diesel with 3,100 hours and a Panda generator are clean and neat. Access to the engine room is very easy so makes work on this area safer and efficient.

The dinghy is available for use when the Westerly 49 is being used by the individual owners.
