1982 UFO34 now for sale.
The UFO34 is a fast and seaworthy cruiser/racer based on the highly successful IOR 3/4 ton Unidentified Flying Object. She was produced in large numbers in the UK (Colvic hulls, fitouts by Hazelwood, Oyster or Landamores), and a number were built in the US and in Australia (Seacraft Marine, WA) during the 1980's.
Whilst some of the IOR yachts of the period had a reputation for poor performance, the UFO34 was both fast and virtually vice-free, and the class became successful both as racers and fast cruisers, many boats being used exclusively as cruising yachts.
This one was an Australian build, 3 owners since launching and fitted out with a total of 8 berths, teak lined roof lining throughout, overhauled Volvo engine 2 years ago and is heavily discounted to achieve a swift sale.
Antifouled 10/2016 with an engine service at the same time.
She presents in very tidy and dry condition, well below some of the comparable other UFO34's on the market. Inspection welcome any time and location is just near our Newport sales office.
