This Westerly Ocean 49 is in immaculate condition, a true testament to its owner’s dedication and care. Maintained to the highest standards, she has recently undergone a well-deserved makeover, further enhancing her timeless appeal.

Sloop rigged with furling main, genoa and staysail, she is easily handled by 2 people.  A Sidepower bow thruster makes in port maneuvers simple whilst on passage she has both electronic and mechanical autopilots. On cabin top there is an electric winch able to be used for various functions including halyards, furling or dinghy lifting.

She has been fitted to a high degree in safety and her electronic package constantly updated to provide all systems that you would expect from a modern cruising yacht. Her cockpit is protected by a pilot house which fully protects in all weather.

Lots of space on deck particularly on the aft decks where you find good access to the barbeque cooking station.  There is also simply dinghy launch via davits and steps down to the swim platform. Down below you will immediately be swept away by wonderful warmth and space.  There is plenty of light and ventilation and the boat is very dry.

A huge dining area to seat 10, plus navigation station with swivel chair with back.  The galley is perfectly positioned with lots of bench space and back support whilst cooking at sea. There is a double cabin forward as well as a twin bunk room and bathroom. But go into the aft owners stateroom for the true WOW factor.

A massive comfortable, queen size bed and lounge chair. Cupboards and storage to burn and a private bathroom makes this space very inviting. Throughout the boat you will note attention to handholds to get you around in all conditions safely.

From an engineering standpoint the owner has done a beautiful job in keeping the mechanics in top condition.  The Volvo Diesel with 3,298 hours  (98 since the last service) and a Panda generator are clean and neat. Access to the engine room is very easy so makes work on this area safer and efficient.
