The Swarbrick S111 has proven to be a versatile yacht. In particular, this fully fitted version as well as very accommodating, sails competitively with no vices.
On deck, the yacht is easily handled alone or two up and accommodates a crew of five while in race mode. The fractional rig with large battened main and workable headsail option works well. The yacht is fast up wind and virtually sails herself given perfect balance between hull, rig and helm.
The cockpit has full length benches, great steering positions, walk around wheel helm and rear seating. Through the transom onto a fixed marlin board dramatically increasing space and being a perfect swim platform with permanent SS ladder. With immediate access to BBQ or fresh water shower, it works.
Above is a folded permanent bimini cover, with shade also provided with an elegant rolled/ battened sun and rain cover that transform the boat into a great place to be rain or sun.
Deck gear is appropriate and simple, quality headsail furler, easily reefed main. Simple.
