Spray 34 Pilothouse

Spray 34 Pilothouse motorsailor built circa 1982 with an updated and very tidy Volvo Penta MD2040 fresh water cooled diesel shaft drive installed in 2010 is now for sale exclusively with DBY Boatsales.

Joshua Slocum is well known for being the first solo circumnavigator on a vessel that is of this current design. Slocum enthusiasts, please come and inspect.

She has massive decks and a ballroom sized aft balcony with very generous seating capacity.

Her engine has a very moderate 1,200 hours on the clock and looks almost new.

Antifoul and a full out of water survey were done in January 2020 which is available on request and reads very well.

Standing rigging and sails are of unknown age. Main sail and Genoa on a furler plus a spare genoa.

Gas cooking down in the galley, 3-way fridge, separate shower area alongside an enclosed head. Heaps of room down below with headroom to spare, windows and hatches everywhere for good light and airflow.

The aft cabin is completely separated from the main salon and forward berths which give a nice level of segregation if entertaining or sharing with other couples. One cabin won't even know the other guests are onboard. There is abundant storage throughout the whole vessel.

She has a near new 2020 model inflatable dinghy and oars that are on stainless davits.

External condition shows a poor level of paintwork on the decks and sides. Internally presents very well. Structurally very sound as per the Survey report.

A comment out of Slocums classic novel... I had no worry about my Spray in the storm. It blew 50-60 knots, gusting to 70.
