2003 Dingotto 5.1m now for sale exclusively with DBY Boat Sales.
This stunning timber Dingotto 5.1m sailing boat was built new in 2003, out of the Montisola yard in Italy and was then shipped and fully imported into Australia after a major refit in 2017 also done at the Montisola shipyard.
It is in absolutely head turning, perfect condition.
In June 2020 she had new antifouling and revarnished all the timberwork.
It is the only Dingotto in this part of the world.
The hull is covered in fiberglass soaked in epoxy C system eliminating any maintenance to the wooden planking.
It is a very comfortable dayboat and you can dream of sailing down the Amalfi coast of Italy.
It has bow cushions that are about 2200 x 1900 mm which is a generous queen-sized daybed for a siesta after too many reds, two side benches and a seat with a cushion for the helmsman at the stern. Fantastic for sailing around Sydney Harbour or Pittwater area.
Weighing only 350kg it would be very easy to arrange road transport to take her to any of the large lakes or coastal areas within Australia and of course it can have a trailer made to become a trailerboat and towed anywhere.
The engine is a 5hp Yamaha F5LMHA 4 stroke, long-shaft purchased March 2018 and used no more than 30/40 hours. It has been serviced every year.
Accessories included with the boat: Jib furler, stern ladder, boom support, cover for boom, tarpaulin for complete coverage of the boat whilst on the mooring, 20 litre portable fuel tank plus the 2 litre integral fuel tank on the engine, compass, battery, solar panel for battery charging, automatic bilge pump, anchor, engine cover, spoon oars & removable rowlocks.
The boat is currently moored in Northbridge, Sydney Harbour.
