Launched in 1994, Infinity is a very popular and successful Davidson design suited to the competitive racer who also wants a boat to do some short-handed cruising.
Performance wise she is a giant killer with the standard design of exceptional performance further enhanced by a custom recently added Duval Blade bulb keel.
Her large cockpit is well laid out with excellent running gear. Most functions are handled from the cockpit.
She has a custom large wheel enabling easy steering from either side. A step transom allows good access from a dock or dinghy.
Her interior is comfortable with a collapsible 6-person dining table with well-presented plush upholstery kept under plastic.
Powered by a well maintained 30hp Yanmar diesel with great access.
Infinity has an extensive wardrobe of 17 sails including an assymetrical spinnaker which is flown off a forward prodder.
Apart from her easy performance, she is perfect for a trip up the coast. I myself was fortunate to cruise a similar 350SL up into the Whitsundays from Sydney.
I highly recommend this design, and these are usually hard to acquire.
