Cavalier 28's are known racer cruisers and are popular choices for entry level yachting right through to competitive club racing. This one has had the same owner for 28 years and has been exceptionally well cared for.
She had an engine upgrade in 2001 with a Volvo Penta 10hp 2 cylinder fresh water cooled shaft driven engine that has only 220 hours showing and looks as new. On the drive shaft is a bronze feathering hydralign prop.
The rest of the yacht is in perfect original condition with upgraded upholstery and rigging was replaced in 2013 which involved a complete mast removal and service including re painting.
A complete sail wardrobe includes a battened main, # 1 and 2 headsails plus 2 kites.
