A very common question we are being asked is “Should I sell in Lockdown”. Many sellers are putting their selling plans on hold until we can all move more freely from place to place. Our answer is ….
YES you should look at selling now. There is a huge pool of buyers and some that are buying sight unseen. Buyers are competing very hard for the boats that are on the market. We believe that once lockdown is over and international travel begins there will be a surge of boats to hit the market. If you are thinking of selling, you want to beat this surge of listings and list now with less competition.

DBY Boat Sales is open, however we are operating slightly differently. We are offering inspections by appointment only and of course please wear a mask, hand sanitize and adhere to the square meter rule.

Next up on the DBY Boat Sales schedule is the 2021 Lock Crowther Multihull Regatta that is coming up soon for our catamaran fleet. RMYC and DBY Boat Sales are sponsoring this regatta which will be a weekend to try some easy cruising or racing with friends and family. Lock Crowther was the Australian pioneer of multihulls and is world renowned for his vision and expertise. In recognition of his legacy this regatta will be very special and we would like all multihull owners from cruising families and racers to enjoy what we believe will be an event not to be missed.
