This yacht, (sail # 240) was purpose built for the owner of Maison Marine back when they were the manufacturers of Boomerang Yachts.
The Boomerang 20 is a self righting, retractable keel yacht that is one of the few trailer yachts that was approved for junior offshore group racing and is a proven cruising vessel.
This particular boat has been extensively fitted out for cruising with the current owners recently returning from a 4 week cruise of the Whitsundays.
Features included an electric winch fitted to the drop keel with a remote control that allows operating from the cockpit, full instrumentation, huge storage, cockpit shower, 12v refrigeration and waterproof curtains on the pop top roof for greater headroom.
The trailer has been modified to a tandem for better handling and was recently re-wired with full LED lights complete with a Powerwinch 912 and Mastmate mast raising system.
