2005 Bavaria 46 is now for sale.

A strong and reliable boat, she was purchased and refitted out in 2014 to carry its current owners family across two oceans from the Italy in the Mediterranean to Sydney. 

She underwent a major re fit The 2014 refit included overhauling the running rigging and reefing systems, an update to the steering system, and a new liferaft and safety systems. 

New sails, a fully battened main and furling headsail were commissioned for the Pacific leg of the tripr as well as a brand new Tohatsu outboard. 

A new dodger was added in 2017.

The motor has been continually serviced by current owners most recently in 2017.

The 46 is one of the most popular long distance cruisers from Bavaria.She points well to windward and loves a good breeze whilst handling bigger ocean seas elegantly.  Her owners calculate an average cruising speed of 6.5 knots for passage making, but l often made a speedier arrival if sailing on a beam or to windward. 

With a luxurious interior that can accommodate 8 and a spacious cockpit made for the Sydney or Pacific  climate, she can provide you a stylish platform for entertainment in local waters, or at the other extreme she can be sailed with just a crew of two to distant shores.
