1964 Griffin 30 sloop timber classic now for sale.
Exquisite classic timber sloop. Bounty is constructed of 1 + 1/8th inch clear oregon on spotted gum frames with silicon bronze fixings. Solid Burma Teak cabin and doghouse, grown spotted gum knees, Silver Ash and Teak interior, 4 x chrome on bronze opening ports.
External lead ballast of long keel design. Sleeps 5 including quarter berth, fully enclosed head and washbasin.
Teak laid cockpit and hatches, plywood decks fibre glassed over with painted finish.
Auxilliary 13 hp Sole diesel full engine re build 2001 with very low hours all receipts available. Galley includes S/S sink, S/S ice box and 2 x burner metho stove with ample storage.
Major refurbishment undertaken during 2015 including topsides stripped back to bare timber all splines and fixings resealed and epoxied where required. Finished with 6 x coates of paint incl., 4 x coats single pack gloss epoxy. Areas of deck replaced, fibre glass sealed and newly painted. All stanchion bases removed, re waterproofed and rebolted. New spray dodger fitted.
