Defiance 30 built locally by Savage Yachts to a Sparkman and Stephens design. A well-respected club racer cruiser of the mid 70's era.
A tough sea going boat that has the tally room of trophies to prove she sails well and gets her share of podiums.
This one has been in the family for over 40 years and it shows. She is a well-cared for example of this classic yacht.
All the sails are in good condition and about 15 years old.
Interior is fresh and appears to be well maintained and airy without any leaks or mould. The yacht was recently anti-fouled and the engine was serviced at the same time.
The engine was overhauled in 2005 and the owner says it starts first time every time but has decided to upgrade to a newer and bigger yacht to suit the growing family.
