The Compass 29 design remains to be the most produced Australian yacht to date. Well regarded as forgiving and sea-kindly, the sailing stability of the Compass 29 is celebrated by experienced and novice Australian sailors with some having circumnavigated the globe.
Compass 29's satisfy the need for a safe, family cruising yacht with a solid reputation. They are structurally overbuilt and a testimony to why there are still so many of them out there today.
This one has been well maintained by the current 2nd owner since 1995, having replaced the engine in 2014 with a Yanmar 2YM15 showing a very low 150 hours now, Olympic sails are 2015 and standing rigging is 2002.
