1973 C & C 39 Black Watch now for sale. Now fully imported into Australia!
She has just completed the trip from Seattle to Sydney, having left in August 2016. She had a refit before leaving so apart from normal maintenance she had a trouble free journey.
She is a strongly built racer cruiser that could easily continue on around the world. Her hull condition is excellent, no blisters or grounding damage. No soft spots on the deck.
The rig is the taller version and was replaced in 90s with slab reefing. Black Watch can challenge most modern designs upwind with admirable and safe performance downwind.
This is the complete, real deal affordable package for those looking for a fully equipped blue water cruiser. Set up for comfortable shorthanding yet ready to be super competitive for racing in your local fleet.
Buffed, polished, fresh bottom paint and anti-fouled November 2017.
