1980 Brewer 37 Cutter now for sale.
ELLARE is a 37ft Brewer and is one of 12 professionally built to this design in steel. She has a warm mahogany interior, plenty of headroom and built by a craftsman.
Canadian flagged, she has just sailed in from Vancouver after 8 years of solo sailing by her current owner and is now imported into Australia.
Set up for shorthanding, Ellare is a sturdy, comfortable, well equipped vessel. She is an amazing value for the money for anyone wishing to take on serious bluewater passage making with a minimum budget or a comfortable cruiser for weekend sailors.
She is reliable, strong and designed for cruising. The enhancements the owner has done have made this a very comfortable vessel for a cruising crew and she will take you safely anywhere in the world. She has new steel plates below the waterline which were professionally done in 2014. She is essentially a much newer boat than her years. She has a round bilge - no hard chines.
Features a well maintained Yanmar 38HP diesel with only 2700 hours.
She has windvane self-steering, wind and solar power. All lights are LED so power consumption is very low. A well balanced cutter rig, nicely enclosed cockpit. Has berths for up to 6 people and would be perfect for a couple to do long distance sailing.
