Bavaria 46

2006 version of one of Bavarias most popular models – the 46 – is now for sale.

She is a well appointed and comfortable yacht ideally suited to short and long distance cruising with twin carbon fibre steering wheels, spacious cockpit, electric primary winches, furling genoa and fully battened mainsail. This is a proven sea going yacht having cruised up and down the East coast from Melbourne to Brisbane, down to Hobart and up to the Whitsundays in the past year.

Tardis is a 4 cabin model that features a huge double stateroom forward. There is a bunk room with 2 beds to port for the kids, or use as many do, for amazing storage. Aft there is 2 Queen size bunks.

She has 2 bathrooms with showers with one incorporating a washing machine.

Her main cabin is bright and airy and set up for serious entertaining. Similarly above decks with a well-covered main cockpit with large Bimini and Dodger. Full cockpit cushions and a beautiful teak table make life above decks very comfortable.

Maintenance has been kept to a high standard with new dodger, boom bag, 6 man life raft, 3x 150 ah house batteries, LED navigation lights, LED cabin lights, outboard motor and generator all in 2015. Antifouled and sail drive anodes replaced October 2016.

Short handed sailing is a breeze with electric winches that are able to assist sail hoist and autopilot to free up an extra pair of hands or provide relief at the helm on long passages while the bow thruster makes tight manoeuvring in marinas child’s play.
