David Renouf, owner of David Bray Yachts and Multihulls, visited New Caledonia to inspect two cruising catamarans listed with DBYM/Multihull Solutions. He’s very pleased to give both cruising yachts for sale a two thumbs up.
Upon arrival to Noumea, David was greeted with a perfect 20 knot sea breeze, warm temps and friendly faces to help him navigate the boat yard and inspections.
“Noumea is a great place to sell or pick up a cruising yacht. It’s absolutely beautiful, perfect sailing conditions, amazing diving and snorkelling and great people on land too.” says David Renouf.
“Its a great place to start cruising after the cyclone season – an easy sail to Australia or up to Asia.”
Lagoon 500
This beautiful late model Lagoon 500 is an owner’s owners version and ready for cruising French Polynesia and beyond. She was sailed from the east coast of America by a young family across the Pacific and is now sitting on a hard stand in Noumea waiting for someone to continue her journey.
The owners have returned to the States.
Catana 471
The Catana 47 ‘Traveler’ is also an owner’s version and in excellent condition. It was previously sold to a young Canadian couple in 2003 by David which allowed him to assess her condition over the years.
The owners cruised the Caribbean, crossed the Pacific and delivered a baby on board in Noumeau.
Both multihulls are looked after by an experienced local management company and kept in very good condition.
